pumps09.jpgPatented FMI 'No-Valve' Technology makes Lab accuracy available for Industry use.

Valveless pumping is accomplished by the simultaneous rotation and reciprocation of the ceramic piston in the mated ceramic liner. The flat duct on the piston opens the suction and discharge ports in sequence and one rotation gives a complete suction and discharge cycle. The pump head module can be swivelled through an angle and this controls stroke length and consequently, the flow. This flow is not only infinitely variable but can be accurately reset. The unique low dead-volume of the piston minimises vapour lock and gives good self-priming ability.
  • Patented 'No-Valve' design.
  • pumps10.jpgChemically inert ceramic piston.
  • Delivery pressures to 100psi.
  • Drift free operation over millions of strokes.
  • Accuracy despite pressure changes.
  • Optional open loop vector drive available.
  • Standard D71 foot/flange motors.
  • VF controls available off-the-shelf.
  • IP54 drive is standard.
  • Higher ratings available.
  • Motors available in 4, 6 & 12 pole.

The complete range of FMI pumps including pneumatic drive units, DC motor drive units, stepper controlled units, duplex units, pedestal mount units, and synchronous drive units are also available.
