THE PUTZMEISTER HSP SERIES

The Putzmeister high density solids series of pumps is the widest range of all. It extends from the small piston pump with ball valves to the seat valve and high pressure transfer tube systems; from the pump for stiff cloth to the highly modern cutting piston pumps for special waste. All of these machines have in common the oil-hydraulically driven drive with infinitely variable pressure and output control for flexibility and automation.

Depending on the design, the pressure ranges reach up to 130 bar in the material to be conveyed, and for machines with 3m piston stroke, outputs up to 285m3/h and more are obtained. All pumps are designed for continuous operation. Under industrial conditions, many machines have already attained more than 60,000 hours in continuous operation, and they continue to run trouble-free.

Corrosion Resistant, Tough 'Ryton' Construction

All parts in contact with the liquid being pumped are made of highly inert, tough 'Ryton' PPS, the plastic that thinks it's a metal. This material has one of the least fire risks of all commonly used plastics (a temperature index of 170°C) and by virtue of FDA regulation may be in contact with food up to roasting and frying temperatures. There are no known solvents for the polymer below 200°C. Moulded in very heavy sections the material is machined to ensure completely accurate fitting in assembly.
